PESH Orchestra Performs Final Concert of Year

PESH Orchestra Performs Final Concert of Year

On May 16 at the Murphy Amphitheater, the Plano East Orchestra performed their final concert of the year. This concert was not an average performance. They played hits like “Don’t Stop Believin,” “Grease!” and “Old Town Road.” In addition to the unconventional set list, food trucks, games and fun were all a part of this performance.

The orchestra had an exceptional year, with Chamber, Sinfonia and Symphonic all receiving sweepstakes at their UIL competition. They also traveled to South Padre Island to perform, compete and swim at the beach. The students look forward to next year, as they say goodbye to this year’s graduating seniors with this final performance of the year.

The Symphonic bass section plays under the direction of Jeremy Pillow.
