PESH Honors Track & Field Athletes

Plano East Senior High’s student athletes and supporting coaches were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments during the end-of-season track and field awards banquet. The annual event was held at Pecan Hollow Golf Course on May 5. Families joined students in celebrating PESH’s incredible track & field season.

After PESH boys won the district championship in April, seniors Tyler Owens and Jaelen Anderson moved on to the Texas UIL 6A State Championships at Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 11. Owens placed second (10.13) in the 100-meter. The Lady Panthers also made an appearance at state as Krystal Igbo, Kaley Qualls, Tiriah Kelley and Taylor Walton placed fifth in the 4x200-meter relay.
