Murphy Middle in Track City Finals

In their final meet of the season, the Murphy Middle School track and field team took the Kimbrough Stadium by storm with powerful performances in all aspects of the meet. The 7th grade girls finished in second place with an impressive 100.5 points, scoring far above a majority of the other teams. The 8th grade girls achieved 2nd place with a total of 94 points. The 8th grade boys found their way to the podium, earning 3rd place in the meet with 79 points. With a final score of 45 points, the 7th boys made claim to 6th place out of the 13 other competing teams. Now, moving into cross-country season, you can find Murphy at their next CC meet at Haggard Middle School at 5:00 p.m.
