Lynridge Assisted Living and Memory Care Hosts 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt
A group of very enthusiastic kids decked out in their holiday finery, and cheered on by their grandparents, parents, friends, a contingent of local Honor Society students, and staff enjoyed a festive Easter egg hunt led, of course, by the Easter bunny on Saturday April 20.
Located at 304 West FM 544 in Murphy, Lynridge Assisted Living and Memory Care provides 70 seniors with a variety of live-in care options, along with a host of daily activities and, most important, tailor-made care by a dedicated staff of caring professionals.
Hillary Nelson, Business Director, for Lynridge explains, “We started this tradition in 2016 as a way to bring the children of our staff, their families and our residents together to celebrate the Easter weekend. It’s always special for our residents and guests.”
In addition to the Easter egg hunt, Lynridge offered a special brunch including custom omelets, chicken and waffles and lots of chef-prepared surprises. Nelson explains, “We pride ourselves on our food preparation. Our Chef, who has won many culinary awards, prepares a rotating menu that offers residents two different custom meal options every day in addition to our standard menus. He prepares almost everything from scratch and all of our meals are designed with seniors in mind. Our food is always low in salt, for example.” There was no question that both residents and guests enjoyed the post-hunt brunch.
