McMillen Baseball Loses Against Lovejoy

McMillen Baseball Loses Against Lovejoy

On April 16, the McMillen Baseball team competed in their final home game against Lovejoy

High School in a low-scoring game. The Lions had a disappointing first three innings, letting

in nine runs, but scoring none themselves. The fourth and fifth innings proved strong for

both teams defensively, but lacking offense, as both managed their three outs early in

the innings. Freshman, Ryan Dvoracek earned the first and only run for the Lions in the

sixth inning. The seventh continued the scoreless trend of the previous innings, ending the

game 9-1. Impressive performances came from Nick Costigan, who managed a hit with all

of his at-bats, and Aiden King, who pitched for five of the seven innings. You can see the

McMillen team in their final game of the season at Prestonwood on April 26th at 7:00 p.m.
