PESH JV Basketball Team Suffers Loss to Jesuit

On Feb. 5, Plano East Panthers JV basketball team went head-to-head against the Jesuit Rangers at home. In the first quarter, the Panthers had a slow start having Till Young, Malik Russell and Jay Hardeman score only seven points while the Rangers scored 17.  In the second quarter, the Panthers only scored five more points having Isaiah Hyman score the only free throw shot of the quarter. Jesuit kept the lead ending the first half 33-12. 

After a meeting with the coach, the Panthers quickly became more aggressive. Scoring 13 points were players Malik Russell, Milan Patton, Justin Wright and Isaiah Hyman. Jesuit kept their game up and scored a total of 18 more points, ending the third quarter at 51-25. In the final quarter, the Panthers tried to make a come back and scored a total of 29 points, while the Rangers scored 15 ending the game 66-54.
