Seventh Grade Boys Basketball Dominates Rice

In one of their last games of the regular season, the seventh grade boys B-team took on Rice Middle School in a very successful game for the Mavericks.Murphy quickly established their dominance on the court, keeping Rice at bay defensively while also racking up 16 points, four of which came from Ahmad Abualneel. The Mavericks proved just as successful in the second period, gaining another 14 points, including a three-pointer from Matt Duval. By end of the first half, Murphy was ahead 30-4. 

The Mavericks maintained their energy into the third period, taking in 10 points, with a basket from Ethan Soderberg. The Mavs finished the game strong, rounding out the night in the lead 45-11. Star players of the game included Caden Warner with 12 points and Brody Waid with 11 points.
