Wylie Pirates Destroy Naaman Rangers 65-10

Wylie Pirates JV girls’ basketball team showed no mercy as they went up against the Rangers at Naaman Forest High School on Jan. 4. The first seven points for Naaman Forest, in the first, were the last to be made until the end of the fourth. The Pirates domination included every aspect of the game both defensively and offensively. The Pirates were up 20-7 going into the second with four fouls called against Naaman Forest and zero for Wylie. They remained untouchable, scoring 21 points, as Naaman Forest continued fouling and missing attempted shots.

The second half seemed as effortless for Wylie as the first with Naaman Forest unable to score. Wylie’s first foul was in the third with 7:15 on the clock. As the Rangers helplessly looked on, the Pirates scored 18 points throughout the quarter heading into the fourth at 59-7. While Naaman Forest was absolutely crushed by Wylie, the Rangers ended the game with a three-point buzzer beater for a 65-10 finish.
