Murphy’s Moonlight Movie Features ‘Beauty and the Beast’

A showing of “Beauty and the Beast” was featured during Moonlight Movie night at Murphy Central Park amphitheater on May 18. Along with free admission, the City of Murphy provided popcorn, snacks and drinks to family and friends in attendance. After first finding the perfect spot for blankets and lawn chairs, both kids and adults were all smiles as they spent time together playing soccer or passing the football to one another.

Special activities were planned for those arriving one hour before “Beauty and the Beast” began. In addition to a sing-along of songs from the movie’s soundtrack, there was a face-painting area and a raffle station. Girl Scouts proudly sat at a table teaching other children how to make different crafts. When the movie began, everyone settled into their seats or on blankets and enjoyed another wonderful event in Murphy.
