Homes Needed for Exchange Students
World Heritage, a non-profit organization, is looking for volunteer host families in the Plano East or McMillan High School zones to open their hearts and homes to a 10th or 11th grade high school foreign exchange student for the 2018-2019 school year. Your family will develop a deeper understanding of another culture, and the student will learn about America, our traditions, our culture, and our people.
All students bring their own spending money and are fulling insured. Host families provide a room and meals to their host son/daughter; and in return, gain a cross cultural experience and the lasting gratitude of a young person from overseas.
Host families may select a host son or daughter based on student profiles which include a personal essay describing his or her interests, hobbies and personality. Current students seeking a loving host family include:
*Mija, 15-year-old female from Lithuania who loves volleyball and anything related to science.
*Lilly, 15 -year-old female from Germany who loves horseback riding.
*Florian, 16-year-old male from France who would love to continue to be a Boy Scout here in America.
*Mykhaylo, 16-year-old male from Ukraine who is very passionate about music.
*Iskhak, a 16-year-old male from Kyrgyzstan who enjoys watching movies.
