Country Club Café Unveils Fall Specials

The wildly popular Country Club Café is a hidden gem located in the heart of Wylie. The restaurant is easily accessible to those living in Murphy, as well as surrounding areas. What began as a quaint little sandwich shop, quickly gained momentum when the restaurant decided to add breakfast items to the menu. Executive Chef Stephen Wylie ultimately produced a successful menu appealing to each customer’s culinary need.

Several new fall-themed menu items such as pumpkin pancakes are scheduled to begin on October 1. Chef Wylie is bringing back harvest pancakes, which include caramelized apple drizzled over cinnamon oat pancakes and topped with whipped butter. The menu is packed with sweet and savory options offered at an extremely affordable price.

While they remain a family-friendly restaurant, obtaining a liquor license has allowed them to explore a new avenue for customers to enjoy. A small bar area is readily available for those interested in having cocktails or a glass of vino with friends.

As always, the restaurant offers a daily Blue Plate special featuring only the freshest seasonal ingredients. Adding to the quality maintained by Country Club Café is their commitment to baking a variety of breads resulting in delicious rolls, buns and croissants daily.

Chef Wylie’s menu truly has something for everyone. The burgers at Country Club Café are prepared using Angus beef, which is placed inside a housemade toasted bun with lettuce, tomato and onion. For those interested in building their own burger, the chef offers additional toppings from the grill such as peppers, mushrooms, onions and jalapenos. For customers dining on the lighter side, an array of soups, salads and sandwiches are available.

Anyone visiting Country Club Café for the first time will be treated to a free pancake delivered fresh from the kitchen. Quite possibly one of the best pancakes in the area is their cinnamon swirl pancake topped with creamy icing and whipped butter. Whether dining at Country Club Café for an early breakfast or stopping by for a casual dinner, the staff is fully capable and ready to make your experience a memorable one.

Country Club Café is located at 2260 Country Club Road in Wylie.
