October 15 – Bulky Trash Pick-up Day Pick up will begin very early on that day, so you will need to have all items out by your curb the night before your scheduled pick up date. This will ensure that your items will not be missed.

The program will be about the life of Eddie "Sarge" Stinson who recently passed away, but was known for his research on the first African American families in Plano, Texas. Free to all. October 30 - Girl Scout Service Unit 151 Boo Ball, Bowman Middle School, 2501 Jupiter Road, Plano, 6:30 – 9 p.m. Open to the public! You'll have a screamin' time at the Boo Ball! Activities include carnival booths with prizes, snacks/drinks for sale, craft booths, Halloween games, a costume contest, and more. $8 per person at the door (includes admission and 10 'boo' tickets.) The price is the same regardless of age. Boo tickets are used to pay for the activities and are available for 25 cents each. Kids under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. November 14 – Tiger Trot – 1-mile Walk-A-Thon at Bob Woodruff Park in Plano, TX benefiting those wonderful exotic cats (including “Kahn” the Messenger lion) at In-Sync Exotics! The Tiger Trot will be a benefit to raise money for medical treatment and new enclosures for In-Sync Exotics’ 44 cats. There will be several activities for families and pet owners.
