SOUTH MAXWELL CREEK ROAD TO BE CLOSED AT KINNEY DRIVE
By City of Murphy | Published  06/17/2009 | Around Town | Unrated

Murphy, Texas (June 17, 2009) –

South Maxwell Creek Road – south of Kinney Drive – will be closed to thru traffic beginning Monday, July 6, 2009. With the completion of McCreary Road from FM 544 to Ranch Road in Sachse, South Maxwell Creek Road will no longer serve as a through route to Sachse for motorists.

For traffic traveling on FM 544 that would like to travel south into Sachse, it is suggested that McCreary Road be used as a primary route. The City of Murphy will be conducting a traffic study to determine what, if any, permanent changes need to be made to traffic circulation patterns in the area.

If you would like more information, you may contact Jeff Bickerstaff, Assistant City Manager at 972-468-4022 (jbickerstaff@murphytx.org) or Kim Green, Executive Assistant at 972-468- 4024 (kgreen@murphytx.org)
