Murphy, TX –The City is still accepting items to be considered for installation into a Time Capsule that will be sealed until the year 2058 in commemoration of the City’s 50th Anniversary of an incorporated City. The time capsule will be located in the City Hall lobby at 206 N. Murphy Road, Murphy, Texas. Items will be accepted until December 31, 2008. The Time Capsule Installation Ceremony will be scheduled at a later date. The City would like to have items representing each of the schools located in Murphy as well as other significant items of interest from the community.
