Public Meeting hosted by Oncor
By City of Murphy | Published  11/5/2008 | Around Town | Unrated

Murphy, TX – The City of Murphy is inviting its residents to a public meeting hosted by Oncor, electricity provider, on Tuesday, November 18th at the Murphy Middle School Cafeteria from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss possible locations for an overhead 138kV Electrical Transmission Line from south Murphy to the proposed Parker Maxwell Creek Substation. Attached is the project information from Oncor for your review. The City of Murphy is very concerned about the placement of these lines and the aesthetic impact it will have on the community. Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, November 18th and attend the public meeting to voice your concerns, if any, to Oncor.

Questions regarding this Public Meeting may be directed to James Fisher, City Manager, via the City Manager’s Office at (972) 468-4000 or jfisher@murphytx.org.
