Saturday, November 1st
Anytime between
10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
For bulb-planting and clean up at the abandoned
 Decatur-Maxwell-Murphy Cemetery

The cemetery is located down a gravel road that braches off from where Tom Clevenger Road and North Maxwell Creek Road meet. There will be balloons marking the gravel road to the cemetery.

Employees from Lowe’s will be working on a fence project and employees from Classic Gardens & Landscape will be helping with the planting of bulbs at markers. The Murphy Garden Club  will be assisting with the planting and providing instructions on how to plant the bulbs.

If you have blubs from your home garden that you would like to plant, you are welcome to bring them along with rakes, hoes, weed eaters and other gardening tools. Garden hoses will also be helpful to reach from the fire hydrant adaptor to the far end of the cemetery.

We hope to see you next Saturday at this community event!
