Jon Lashbrook has been with State Farm Insurance for 35 years – 10 of those years have been spent in Murphy, TX. When Jon opened his State Farm office on S. Murphy Road 10 years ago, there wasn’t much around; no Albertson’s or McDonalds certainly. Outside of a few vacant offices in the strip where he had leased, the only “store” was the Murphy Gro on the corner, now replaced by Starbucks.

Through the years Jon has had the opportunity to work with many families and help them select the best coverage for their circumstances. And he’s been pretty successful with that according to State Farm corporate that awarded him the “Select Agent” rating and the State Farm Bronze Tablet. 
Jon Lashbrook Agency offers insurance, investments, banking with checking and savings, CDs, loans and retirement programs. And there are now four people in the office to assist established customers and prospective customers with the wide variety of products and services.

Jon is a Charter Member of the Murphy Chamber of Commerce where he has served as Communications Director, Vice Chairman, Chairman and Director of Counsel. Jon has also been instrumental in the Chamber’s Scholarship Program for four years. His agency has also sponsored several bicycle rodeos at Boggess Elementary and at City events.
