Murphy, Texas (September 19, 2008) – The section of North Maxwell Creek Road – between FM 544 and the Kansas City Southern Railroad – that has been closed since April 21, 2008 is now open to traffic.

The roadway was improved from a two-lane asphalt roadway to a three-lane concrete roadway with sidewalks in conjunction with the development of Murphy Marketplace.
