The Cemetery Association of Murphy
and the
Murphy Garden Club
Will Host a Community Flower Planting Day at the
Historic Decatur-Maxwell-Murphy Cemetery
On Saturday November 1st  -  9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

All are invited to share bulbs from home gardens and bring them to the cemetery on November 1st for transplanting. If you don’t have spring bloomers such as iris, daffodils, callas, crocus, etc. perhaps you could bring potting soil, mulch, several purchased bulbs, or just be there to help with the planting.  With over 300 graves to prepare for spring color, along with several tree bases and garden areas, there will be plenty of volunteer opportunities for everyone.

If you are interested in joining The Cemetery Association of Murphy, Inc. the next meeting will be held on Saturday, August 16th at the home of Brad Lapsley, President, 375 Willow Wood Street in Murphy at 10 a.m.
