Murphy, TX – On Wednesday, May 19, 2010, Murphy Police received information from the Plano Independent School District of an incident that occurred involving a Kindergarten school teacher at Hunt Elementary School.  The case was referred to the Collin County Child Abuse Task Force.  After a thorough investigation an arrest warrant was issued. 

Joseph Garbarini was charged with Indecency with a Child.  The suspect turned himself over to the Collin County Jail where he is currently being held on a $ 1,000,000.00 bond.  The Collin County Child Abuse Task Force is leading the investigation with the assistance of the Murphy Police Department, Texas Department of Health and Human Services and Plano Independent School District. 

This is a continuing investigation.
